Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Boo rushes Jereny and presses him up against the cage.
Jereny wants a takedown but no success here.
Boo tries to pull guard but Jereny holds him up against the cage and eventually Boo drops back down to his feet.

Boo throws a sloppy head kick and Jereny moves out of range easily.

Boo has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Jereny is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Boo wants to sweep but no luck.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Boo controls Jereny momentarily but Jereny frees himself.

Boo has his foot on Jereny's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Jereny works his way back into a safe position though.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Boo can do anything to dispel that myth.

Boo has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Jereny is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.

Jereny is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Boo pulls him back up using the underhooks.

and Boo counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Boo fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Jereny sprawls well initially but Boo persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Boo forces Jereny back against the cage and clinches.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.
Jereny really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Boo manages to break the clinch.
Boo looks for a takedown but Jereny sprawls well.
Horrible takedown attempt by Boo or perhaps it was just good defense by Jereny, which made it look bad.

Jereny is working for takedown but Boo is calmly controlling the position for now.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Boo breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Boo has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Boo tries to land a leg kick but Jereny saw it coming and moves away.
Jereny swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.

Boo has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Jereny.
Boo tries to close the distance and clinch but Jereny swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Boo darts in looking for a takedown but Jereny gets double underhooks and turns Boo into the cage.
Kangaroo Boo is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Boo shoots in looking for a takedown. Jereny tries to sprawl out of it but Boo keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Jereny manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Jereny cracks Boo with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Boo moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Boo takes a body punch but keeps moving.

Jereny seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.

I was talking to Jereny's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

Boo breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Boo gets cracked there but stands up to it.

That was a close second round but I would say that Adan Jereny will probably get the nod.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Jereny shoots for a double leg takedown but Boo sprawls well. He's pushed Jereny's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Boo closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Jereny did well to prevent Boo getting side control.

Boo shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Boo was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Boo checks a leg kick.

and Jereny counters with an outside leg kick.
Boo shoots in looking for a takedown but Jereny manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Boo's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
