Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Carter Wright (ranked 376 p4p, 1539 weight class) and Archibald Atckinson (ranked 51 p4p, 236 weight class). Atckinson is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: can't be touced. Archibald Atckinson has the eye of the tiger tonight.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Archibald Atckinson!
The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Jorge Garcia and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wright ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Atckinson takes a jab right on the kisser.
Wright throws a hook but Atckinson avoids it easily.
Atckinson feints a counter leg kick.

Wright throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Atckinson on the side of the head.

Wright lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Atckinson backs up against the cage.
Wright throws out a leg kick but Atckinson moves out of range and Wright only half commits.
Wright punishes Atckinson's body with a nice straight punch.

Wright sends Atckinson crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Wright is motioning to the referee to let Atckinson up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

A looping hook to the body misses from Wright. Atckinson does a little dance to reset his feet.
Wright ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Atckinson moves away.
A little jabbing left from Atckinson on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Wright feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Atckinson sprawling to the canvas! Atckinson rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Wright finish him?!

Wright feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Atckinson sprawling to the canvas! Atckinson rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Wright finish him?!
Atckinson walks into a straight right, dropping him to the canvas! Wright swarms him and finishes the fight with a hail of punches! What a brutal finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Carter Wright!

After winning the bout, Carter Wright thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
