Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Spencer Rigs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alex Woodward (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Spencer Rigs!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Alex Woodward!
The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Alexandre Firmino and Matheus Silva.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Woodward closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Rigs is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Woodward can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Rigs has control of Woodward's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Woodward regains control of the situation pretty easily.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Well Woodward has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
