Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Caligola Daskalakis!
The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Sandra Marshall and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Turner shoots in looking for a takedown. Daskalakis tries to sprawl out of it but Turner keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Daskalakis manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Daskalakis has taken the fight to the clinch.

Turner has clasped his hands together around Daskalakis's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
Turner connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Daskalakis some visible discomfort.

Turner looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.

Turner has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Turner working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Daskalakis doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Daskalakis manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Daskalakis is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
We've been informed that Daskalakis has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.

Turner has his foot on Daskalakis's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Daskalakis works his way back into a safe position though.

Daskalakis must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Daskalakis lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Oh Turner is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Daskalakis postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Turner covers up, he's hurt! Daskalakis keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Daskalakis and the ref steps in to end the fight! Daskalakis can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:44 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Caligola Daskalakis!
Caligola Daskalakis seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
BH Turner spoke after the fight, saying 'shit happens'.
