Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Rafael Benedetti (ranked 1498 p4p, 23879 weight class) and Valerian Pica (ranked 164 p4p, 512 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Valerian Pica!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Andrew Berry and Phil Schofield.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pica misses with a body shot
and Benedetti counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
A jab from Pica finds it's way through Benedetti's defenses.
Pica has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Benedetti misses with a hook.
Benedetti throws a jab when Pica was well out of range.
It seemed like Pica was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Valerian Pica seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A head kick by Pica misses
and Benedetti counters with a straight right hand.
Pica takes one to the side of the head.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Pica throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Pica pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Benedetti was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Pica throws an off balance right hand
and Benedetti cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Pica is rocked!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Benedetti throws a monster overhand right that drops Pica! Benedetti follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!
