Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bertel Haardt (ranked 1622 p4p, 2205 weight class) and Fedor Mazepin (ranked 184 p4p, 245 weight class). Mazepin is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by boom. Fedor Mazepin has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Bertel Haardt!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Fedor Mazepin!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Paul Aken and Radbod Blank.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Haardt throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
The fight stays on the outside here - Haardt looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Haardt moves in looking to clinch but Mazepin pushes him off.
Mazepin keeps the fight on the outside.
Mazepin is looking for the big counter here.
Haardt tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Haardt stuffs the takedown attempt from Mazepin. Mazepin gets slowly back to his feet.
Haardt was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
No luck for Mazepin with that takedown attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Haardt dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Mazepin. That did some damage!

Haardt is trying to maintain a safe position but Mazepin gets an underhook and turns Haardt into the cage.

Haardt misses with a double jab.
Mazepin tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.

and Mazepin counters with a single leg into guard. Haardt didn't expect that.

Mazepin throws a big right hand that misses.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Mazepin accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Mazepin drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Mazepin as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Haardt screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Mazepin! Nice submission victory there!
