Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Michal Materlak (ranked 3016 p4p, 5345 weight class) and Nipple Licker (ranked 403 p4p, 598 weight class). Materlak comes to the cage accompanied by Marzenia. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Michal Materlak!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Nipple Licker!
The judges for this bout are Francis DeMontford, Steve Erwin and Ron Honeybunn.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Licker with a poor takedown
and Materlak counters with a straight right hand.
Materlak slaps away a takedown attempt from Licker, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Licker takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Licker takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Materlak is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Licker.
Licker tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.

Licker gets a double leg takedown into Materlak's guard.
Licker really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Materlak. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Licker stops Materlak from standing up.
Materlak lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Licker is looking for a triangle but Materlak pushes his legs off easily.
Licker wants to sweep here but Materlak controlling him for the moment.
Materlak sitting in guard, not really doing much.

Licker trying to control the position.

Licker throws his legs up looking for a submission but Materlak uses it to pass to side control.
Licker tries to improve position but can't.

Materlak is trying to get an arm triangle but Licker is defending well.
Licker is letting Materlak control him for a moment.

Materlak controls the position.

Materlak is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Licker knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Materlak working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
