Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Sean OMalley (ranked 5897 p4p, 5231 weight class) and Braxton Labatt (ranked 263 p4p, 237 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Labatt's choice of entrance music: Dierks Bentley - Sideways. This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Sean OMalley!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Braxton Labatt!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Ian Loll and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
OMalley swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
so Labatt counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Labatt passes easily into side control. Nice work.
OMalley sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Well, if Labatt is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Labatt is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and OMalley defends it well.

Labatt is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so OMalley is just riding it out for now. Labatt eventually gives up the hold.

Labatt passes the guard and advances to mount!
Labatt has control of OMalley's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and OMalley regains control of the situation pretty easily.
OMalley really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Labatt looking for a guillotine from mount but OMalley is having none of it.
OMalley looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.

OMalley tries to reverse the position but Labatt maintains control.
Labatt forces the positional change into back control.
Labatt sinks in the hooks and is looking for the choke. He's got it! OMalley taps out!
