Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tota Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Heimo Hats (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Heimo Hats is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hats throws a head kick but Silva moves out of range.
Hats tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Silva swivels and escapes.

Hats darts in and clinches Silva up against the cage.

Hats is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Hats has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Silva is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Silva lands a left hand that snaps the head of Hats backwards.
The is referee keeping an eye on Silva - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

Silva is pressed up against the cage. Hats has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Silva down to the mat. Silva avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Silva feints and as Hats raises his hands in defense, Silva changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Hats is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Silva has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Hats is proving hard to escape from.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Silva trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.

That was a close second round but I would say that Tota Silva will probably get the nod.

Silva throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Hats's waist but Hats gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Silva off to one side.

The crowd cheers as Hats lands an impressive looking overhand right. Silva doesn't seem phased though.

Silva fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Hats sprawls well initially but Silva persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Hats is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Silva's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Silva's back!
