And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Rock Silva!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Eliza Hachem and Darius Henderson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rummel shoots in but no luck this time.
Rummel missing with a left hand there. Silva was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Silva keeps the fight on the outside.
Rummel looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Rummel takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Rummel misses with a left hand
and Silva connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

It looks like Syd Rummel has been cut.
Silva's coach down at Dr Hatsumi's Clinic was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Silva's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Rummel gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Silva.
Rummel throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Silva takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Rummel fails with the takedown.
Silva now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Rummel misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Silva.

A nice leg kick from Silva, right into the meat of the thigh.
Rummel pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Rummel on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Silva. Silva obviously looking to wear him down.
Silva scores with a hook.
Silva ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Silva moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Rummel is breathing heavily.

Silva takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Rummel connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Rummel lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Silva at a distance.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Rummel shoots for a double leg takedown but Silva sprawls well. He's pushed Rummel's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Syd Rummel. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A decent looking cross lands there for Silva.
Silva blocks a jab.
Silva feints a counter leg kick.
Silva paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

Rummel is rocked!
Silva lands with a nice body punch.
Silva thows a left - swing and a miss!
Rummel gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Silva gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Rummel is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
