The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jesus ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Da Oxlade moves away.
Da Oxlade swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Da Oxlade ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Da Oxlade tried to counter with a leg kick but Jesus avoided it.
Jesus swings widly with a right hand
and Da Oxlade counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Jesus connects with a body shot.
Jesus misses with a left hand
and Da Oxlade counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Da Oxlade throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Da Oxlade lands a lovely overhand right.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Da Oxlade uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Jesus.
Evaristo Jesus seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jesus rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Da Oxlade moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Da Oxlade throws a quick counter head kick but Jesus was just out of range.

Jesus is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Da Oxlade is trying to escape and Jesus transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Da Oxlade is forced to tap! Nice work there by Jesus! Very nice indeed!

Evaristo Jesus opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.
