The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vruso is looking to clinch.
Harbrant feinted with a counter takedown.

Vruso throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Vruso takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

Harbrant uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

Vruso takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

A jab-cross combination lands for Harbrant and sends Vruso crashing to the mat! Harbrant follows him down to the mat - Vruso regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!

Harbrant will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Harbrant's jab looks to have found its range, popping Vruso under the eye.
Harbrant connects with a combination that backs up Vruso into the cage. Harbrant lands a flurry of punches that gets past Vruso's guard. Vruso is down and the referee has seen enough. It is all over! Harbrant bursts into tears - this win obviously means a huge amount to him.
