The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Turner looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Turner shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Turner will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Palms wants to get back to his feet.

Palms is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Turner pulls his head out easily.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Palms can do anything to dispel that myth.
Palms slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Turner lands a couple of elbows.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Palms controls Turner momentarily but Turner frees himself.
Turner makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

Palms is rocked!
Turner postures up, still in guard. A huge hammer fist lands that bounces Palms's head off the mat! Palms is out! He's out! Turner jumps to his feet and celebrates with his corner!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Caesar Turner!
A relieved looking Caesar Turner thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
