Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Niklas Aho (ranked 3325 p4p, 3177 weight class) and Ty Moon (ranked 441 p4p, 428 weight class). Ty Moon is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moon swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Moon is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Moon throws a hook to the side of Aho's head but Aho sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

and Aho counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Aho.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Aho has hold of Moon's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Moon tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Aho cranks the arm and Moon screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Moon, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
