The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hobbes thows a left - swing and a miss!
Young Gai avoids the head kick by Hobbes.
Hobbes throws a head kick but Young Gai moves out of range.
Young Gai is looking to counter the offense by Hobbes and move into the clinch.
Hobbes looks for the body kick but Young Gai saw that one coming.
Hobbes blocks a jab.
Young Gai takes a swing at Hobbes's ribcage but misses.
Young Gai thows a left - swing and a miss!
Hobbes swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Hobbes gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Young Gai throws a jab when Hobbes was well out of range.
Sum Young Gai seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hobbes ducks under a wild hook from Young Gai.
Young Gai fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Hobbes wants to get back to striking at distance but Young Gai won't allow it.

Young Gai pushes Hobbes back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.

Young Gai lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

Hobbes is still on wobbly legs! Can Young Gai finish him?
Young Gai dips a shoulder and cracks Hobbes with a mighty uppercut! Hobbes falls back against the cage and Young Gai unloads with a barrage of strikes! Hobbes is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Young Gai screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
