Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jack Nigal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daizu Mitsusada (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nigal's entrance music is Cannibal Corpse - Death Walking Terror. A fine choice. Mitsusada has chosen A-Punk as his entrance music. Daizu Mitsusada acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Daizu Mitsusada!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Anthony Taglia and Russell Pearce.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nigal throws a wild body kick that Mitsusada sees coming a mile off.
Nigal has a takedown stuffed.
Mitsusada scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

It looks like Jack Nigal has been cut.
Mitsusada misses with a wild body shot.
Nigal misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Mitsusada swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Nigal gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Nigal has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Mitsusada is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Nigal wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Mitsusada, who protects the arm well.
Nigal wants to take a breather but Mitsusada manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Nigal.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Nigal will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Mitsusada is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Nigal is trying to escape and Mitsusada transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Nigal is forced to tap! Nice work there by Mitsusada! Very nice indeed!
