We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mata is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.

Sparbot 3 wants to control but Mata postures up.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Sparbot 3 is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Mata is staying active.
Mata wants to lay and pray for a moment but Sparbot 3 keeps working.

Sparbot 3 is controlling an arm, preventing Mata from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.

Sparbot 3 wants to control his opponent's hands but Mata gets his hands free.
Sparbot 3 might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Mata haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Mata is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Sparbot 3 has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Mata has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Sparbot 3 taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Mata doesn't care though - he's delighted!
