Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Elvis Blanc and Yves DeLean.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ortega lands a jab to the head.
Ortega showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Hon.

Hon looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Hon is looking to slow Ortega down with leg kicks.

Ortega is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Ortega is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Hon is keeping busy.
Ortega drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Ortega tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Hon breaks the clinch.
Hon tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Ortega manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Hon takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Hon fails to land with a series of punches.
Ortega looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Hon takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Ortega connects with a body shot that sends Hon's belly button to the back.
Ortega scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

Ortega drops Hon with a nice combination! Ortega dives into Hon's guard, looking to finish!

Oh Hon is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Ortega really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hon. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Hon postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Ortega tries to land a sweep but no joy.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Hon is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.

Hon takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Hon clinches up with Ortega and pushes him back against the cage.
Hon blocks an uppercut.
Ortega misses with a short punch on the inside.
Ortega changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Hon fights it off and pushes away nicely.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Hon shoots in for a double leg but Ortega sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Nice straight punches there by Ortega. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Ortega.

Hon looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Nice uppercut there from Ortega.
Ortega comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Hon doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Hon has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Hon tries to move into range but Ortega moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Ortega goes for a small jab and connects. Now Ortega goes in closer pressing the issue. Left hook, right straight! Hon stumbles back but Ortega runs in with a huge uppercut knocking Hon to the ground! What a finish! You have to wonder if Hon will ever be the same after a knockout like that.
