Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Titus Lesnar (ranked 2239 p4p, 3349 weight class) and Boyd Fitzgerald (ranked 261 p4p, 378 weight class). Lesnar comes to the cage accompanied by Next Big Thing. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fitzgerald pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Fitzgerald scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Fitzgerald can do anything to dispel that myth.

Titus Lesnar overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Lesnar has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Lesnar postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Fitzgerald looks a forlorn figure.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fitzgerald's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
Lesnar unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Fitzgerald wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Lesnar celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!

After the fight, Titus Lesnar was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
