Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Terry Evans (ranked 3255 p4p, 5500 weight class) and Chozen Gracie (ranked 69 p4p, 106 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Terry Evans!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chozen Gracie!
The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Roosa Järviläinen and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Evans.
Some wild striking there from Gracie.
Nice body punch from Evans.
Gracie closes this distance looking for a takedown but Evans circles away.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Gracie has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Evans shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Gracie throws a combination that misses
and Evans counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Evans prevents Gracie from improving his position.
Evans throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

Evans thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Gracie's head.
Gracie tries to roll over but Evans keeps him under control.

Gracie is refusing to be controlled, as Evans sits in half guard.
Evans is really struggling to control Gracie but he's trying to hold on to the position.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Evans throwing shots but Gracie is blocking nicely.
Gracie is defending against the submission attempts here by Evans.
Gracie tries to get to full guard but Evans has control of the leg.
Evans with the ground and pound but Gracie uses the opportunity to regain guard.
Evans looking to sit in guard and control but Gracie gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Gracie stops Evans from standing up.

Evans is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Evans is pulling down on Gracie's head to control his posture.
Gracie wants to control from the top but Evans keeps moving.
Evans controls Gracie momentarily but Gracie frees himself.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Evans shoots in and drives through. Gracie sprawls well.
Gracie ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Gracie misses with a takedown
and Gracie takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Evans misses with a takedown attempt - Gracie sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Terry Evans. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Gracie connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Gracie's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Gracie duly obliges.
Gracie dives in for a single leg takedown but Evans sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Chozen Gracie will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.
Gracie shoots in and gets a takedown into Evans's guard.
Terry Evans overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Gracie wants to pass the guard but Evans is keeping the position.
Gracie is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Evans working a defensive guard but Gracie manages to pass into side control anyway.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Evans pushes Gracie away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Gracie gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Gracie wants to lay and pray for a moment but Evans keeps working.

Evans can't do much from the bottom here.
The referee asks Gracie politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Gracie prefers to stall for the moment though.
Evans is looking for a sweep.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Gracie is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Evans's shoulder. That is not cool.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Gracie tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Gracie has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Evans can't do much from the bottom here.

and Evans counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Evans misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Gracie.
Evans throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!

Gracie throws a looping overhand right but Evans ducks down to avoid it.
Evans tries to counter with a takedown but Gracie is quick to defend against it.
Chozen Gracie seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gracie throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Gracie shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Gracie was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Evans tries to buck Gracie off but Gracie is having none of it.

Gracie goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Evans has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Gracie but great work by Evans.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Gracie regains half guard, as Evans was trying to land strikes.
Evans throwing shots but Gracie is blocking nicely.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Evans is trying to control. Gracie wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Chozen Gracie will probably get the nod - 10:9.

Terry Evans has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chozen Gracie.
Gracie takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Evans pushes Gracie up against the cage in a clinch.
Evans's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Gracie feints a jab promting Evans to slip. Gracie then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Evans slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Gracie dives in and grabs Evans's left leg, looking for a takedown. Evans pushes down on Gracie's head and hops out.

Evans wants to control from the top but Gracie keeps moving.
Evans throws a strike but Gracie rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Gracie prevents Evans from getting back to his feet.
Evans wants to hit a sweep here but Gracie passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Evans there!

Gracie is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Evans is surviving well by controlling Gracie's body position as best he can.

Evans tries to hold on but Gracie pushes him away.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Evans tries to buck Gracie off but he can't manage it.

I would just about give that final round to Chozen Gracie.
I've got Gracie winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
