Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Cesar Sandino (ranked 5092 p4p, 4907 weight class) and Jack P Olsen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jack P Olsen!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Winston Alpacca and Bart Greer.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Olsen looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Sandino tries to get to full guard but Olsen has control of the leg.
Sandino wants to control but Olsen is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Olsen wants to lay and pray for a moment but Sandino keeps working.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Olsen in particular looking to stall.

Olsen is looking for submissions but instead, Sandino has regained full guard.
Olsen pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Sandino is keeping the position for now.

Olsen postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Olsen is thwarting Sandino's attempts to control the position.

Olsen is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Olsen throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Sandino is trying to maintain the position but Olsen is very close to passing his half guard.

Olsen is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Sandino doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Olsen.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Olsen connects with a nice short shot to Sandino's temple.

Olsen is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Sandino sees it coming and defends easily.

Olsen is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Sandino defends it well.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Sandino is trying to maintain the position but Olsen is very close to passing his half guard.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Olsen shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Sandino but Sandino pushes him off and we're back to square one.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Sandino's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Olsen closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Sandino did well to prevent Olsen getting side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Olsen stalling away here and it's allowed Sandino to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.

Olsen drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Sandino dives on top into guard.

Sandino is pushing down on Olsen's leg trying to pass to half guard. Olsen is fighting to maintain full guard but Sandino has managed to sneak the leg through.

Sandino is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Olsen sees it coming and defends easily.
Sandino looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sandino is pressing down on Olsen's thigh, looking to free his foot. Olsen is holding on for now.
Sandino is looking to pass Olsen's guard but actually Olsen recovers to full guard.

Sandino is looking for a kimura but Olsen is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Sandino to get the leverage.

Sandino is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Olsen doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Sandino.
Olsen moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Sandino wants to control from the top but Olsen keeps moving.
Sandino controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Olsen lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.


Olsen drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Sandino manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Olsen has Sandino in his guard.

Sandino wants to pass the guard but Olsen is keeping the position.
Olsen wants to sweep but no luck.

Olsen is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Sandino has his hands clasped together but Olsen extends and breaks Sandino's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Olsen.

An out of breath Jack P Olsen thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
