Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Igor Kozlov (ranked 6556 p4p, 4510 weight class) and Zachary Neer Neer (ranked 590 p4p, 496 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Neer's choice of entrance music: Back In Black. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kozlov stuns Neer with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Kozlov throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Neer decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Kozlov's guard.
Kozlov pulls Neer in close to prevent any damage.
Neer controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Neer is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Neer drops an elbow to the side of Kozlov's head.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Neer working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Neer connects with a nice short shot to Kozlov's temple.

Neer is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Kozlov!

A big strike lands for Neer! That's really hurt Kozlov and he's turned his back - Neer keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Neer jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
