Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fredrik Fernros (ranked 2829 p4p, 24118 weight class) and Patrick Turgeon (ranked 312 p4p, 643 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Fernros might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Scarlet - Beauty & Beast. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fernros misses with a few strikes there.
Turgeon connects with a good right hand that stumbles Fernros. Fernros circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
It looks like Fredrik Fernros has been cut.
Turgeon clinches up with Fernros and pushes him back against the cage.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

It looked like Fernros wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
