The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Loco dives in and scores a takedown into Rbn's guard.

Rbn has his foot on Loco's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Loco works his way back into a safe position though.

Rbn isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Loco stacks Rbn on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Loco!

Loco tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Loco has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Rbn tries to buck Loco off but Loco is having none of it.

Loco is looking to take a break and control but Rbn is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Rbn seems a little lost for a moment, as Loco dominates the positioning.

Loco wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Rbn, who protects the arm well.

Rbn escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Loco gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Rbn enables Loco to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Rbn manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
