The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith scores with a nice right hand.
We've been hearing reports that Collner has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Smith shoots in for a double leg but Collner sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Smith shoots for a takedown but Collner saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Collner closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Collner lands in his opponent's guard.
Collner is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Collner might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Smith wants to get back to his feet but Collner is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
