Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Khayone Bokamoso (ranked 4692 p4p, 4545 weight class) and Jim Cannon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bokamoso works the jab nicely.
Bokamoso connects with a crisp jab.
Cannon takes a swing at Bokamoso's ribcage but misses.
Bokamoso appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick.
Cannon thows a leg kick but Bokamoso checks it
and Cannon takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Jab, jab by Cannon - just one landing.
Cannon misses the jab.
Cannon attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Nice jab there from Bokamoso.
Cannon will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Bokamoso dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Cannon. That did some damage!
Bokamoso throws a push kick but Cannon slaps the foot to one side.

Bokamoso drops Cannon with a nice combination! Bokamoso dives into Cannon's guard, looking to finish!

It looks like Jim Cannon has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Cannon is looking to stand up but Bokamoso isn't so interested in that idea.
Cannon is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
Cannon has a closed guard, preventing Bokamoso from standing up.
Bokamoso trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.
Cannon wants to stand up but Bokamoso is controlling him.

Bokamoso would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Cannon has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Bokamoso has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.
Cannon changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Bokamoso fights it off and pushes away nicely.
That kick from Bokamoso tenderised Cannon's leg. Cannon is trying to keep his angry face on.

Bokamoso lands a head kick that stumbles Cannon and the fighters go to the mat.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Cannon has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Bokamoso has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.

Bokamoso pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Bokamoso lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Cannon at a distance.
Cannon should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Bokamoso tries to bum rush Cannon with a series of wild strikes but Cannon uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Bokamoso plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!

Bokamoso bobbing and weaving well here. And he's unloaded with a massive right hand that drops Cannon! He dives into his guard looking to finish!

Cannon is rocked!

Bokamoso has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Cannon is proving hard to escape from.

Cannon has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Bokamoso is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.

Bokamoso pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Bokamoso connects with a crisp jab.
Cannon misses with a looping left.
Cannon loads up on a big right hand but Bokamoso slips the punch.
Bokamoso throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Cannon.
Bokamoso tests Cannon's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Cannon chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Bokamoso can pounce on him.
Cannon takes a kick to the side of the head.
A left and a right from Bokamoso both land. Nice combination.
Cannon is looking to score with low kicks.
Cannon tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
A little feinted left hand from Bokamoso on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Cannon looks winded!

Bokamoso with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Cannon throws a right hand that misses
and Bokamoso counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Cannon closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Cannon takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Cannon drops his hands momentarily and Bokamoso takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Cannon tries to move into range but Bokamoso moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Cannon is still on wobbly legs! Can Bokamoso finish him?
Cannon avoids the head kick by Bokamoso.
Cannon seems to have recovered his senses.
Bokamoso connects with a jab and follows up with a big overhand right! Oh that's hurt Cannon! He's out on his feet! Bokamoso rushes in and drops Cannon with another big right hand, forcing the referee to stop the fight!
