The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Gwen Towbar and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carrigeen throws a hook to the side of Reid's head but Reid sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Reid scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Carrigeen tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.
Carrigeen tries to reverse the position but Reid maintains control.
Reid throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Carrigeen is looking to improve his position but Reid isn't that keen on the idea.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Reid is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Carrigeen can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Carrigeen is rocked!
Reid softens up his opponent with a couple of shots there and then CRACK! One massive shot lands there and Carrigeen is out cold! Reid jumps to his feet and celebrates on the cage with the fans, who are, quite frankly, going absolutely mental!
