Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Ludwig Lachmann!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Mister Winky!
The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Dirk Anderson and David Hoff.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Winky scoring well with a low kick there.
Winky's coach down at Walter J Abramowitz Center for Bigness was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Winky's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Lachmann shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Winky napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Lachmann is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Winky is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Winky is not content to let Lachmann control the position.
Lachmann is really struggling to control Winky but he's trying to hold on to the position.
Winky sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lachmann seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Lachmann is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Lachmann is trying to control the action in half guard but Winky is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Winky is looking to regain full guard. He's left an arm up in the air though and Lachmann has latched onto it... Big trouble! Lachmann pivots for an armbar - it's in tight and it Winky is tapping in no time flat! Great counter grappling there from Lachmann!
