Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Zee Land (ranked 663 p4p, 1231 weight class) and Ricky Youngblood (ranked 78 p4p, 151 weight class). Land's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, For Heavy Metal we will die!. Youngblood has chosen Wake Up Hate as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Zee Land!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ricky Youngblood!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Robert Twigg and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circling - Youngblood throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Youngblood has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Youngblood takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Land is looking to clinch.
Land misses with a leg kick
and Youngblood counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Youngblood avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Youngblood checks a low kick from Land.
Youngblood looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Land wants to clinch.
Despite the aggression on Youngblood's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Youngblood misses with a body shot.

A little jabbing left from Youngblood on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Land throws a wild body kick that Youngblood sees coming a mile off.

Land fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Youngblood looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Youngblood throws a body punch but Land moves out of range.
Land really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Youngblood walks into a stiff left hand from Land.
Land takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Land tries a head kick but it misses.
A slapping leg kick lands for Land.
A punch lands to the side of Land 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Land is looking to clinch.
Land lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Youngblood looks to land a left hand but Land moved out of range nicely.
A telegraphed right hand from Youngblood misses the target.
Youngblood misses with a hook. Land ducked under it nicely.
Land thumps Youngblood with a low kick.
Land scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Land tries to clinch there but Youngblood circles away.
Youngblood takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Youngblood takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Land has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Land tries to close the distance and clinch but Youngblood swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Land slips a straight right by Youngblood.
That kick from Land tenderised Youngblood's leg. Youngblood is trying to keep his angry face on.

And an attempted straight right on the counter from Youngblood! But no joy.
Youngblood misses with a straight left.
Land lands with a cross.
Land has closed the distance and engaged Youngblood in a clinch.
Youngblood misses with a short punch on the inside.
Nice body punch from Youngblood.
Land lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Youngblood swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Youngblood breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Land tries to close the distance and clinch up but Youngblood swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Land throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Land feints and then cracks Youngblood's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Youngblood down.
Land avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Land tries to counter by clinching up but Youngblood breaks away and moves out of range.
Youngblood just misses with a punch to the body.
Youngblood listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Land dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Youngblood. That did some damage!
Land rushes Youngblood and presses him up against the cage.
Land lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Youngblood backwards.
Land lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Youngblood has had enough of the clinch but Land keeps him there for the moment.
Youngblood misses with a hook from the clinch.

Land can't find room to land a body shot as Youngblood controls the action.

Youngblood has a couple of punches blocked by Land.

Land lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.

Zee Land seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Land feints with a left and delivers a massive head kick! Youngblood collapses like a ragdoll! Game over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Zee Land!
Zee Land was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
