Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kenny Hendricks (ranked 4524 p4p, 4802 weight class) and Assad Fez (ranked 549 p4p, 0 weight class). Hendricks comes to the cage accompanied by This Fire Burns. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kenny Hendricks!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Assad Fez!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Robert Twigg and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fez feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Hendricks sprawling to the canvas! Hendricks rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Fez finish him?!
Hendricks is rocked!
Fez clinches.
Oh Hendricks is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Hendricks tries for a takedown. No joy.
Fez working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.
Fez lands a hook that snaps the head of Hendricks backwards.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Still in the clinch, Fez scores with a nice short uppercut.
Hendricks has Fez pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Fez manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Fez lands a left hand that snaps the head of Hendricks backwards.
Hendricks is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kenny Hendricks. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Fez lands a shoulder strike.
A right handed body shot lands from Fez.
Fez gets through Hendricks's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

Fez is muscling Hendricks up against the cage and as Hendricks bounces back off, Fez cracks him with a huge right hand! Hendricks crumples to the mat - he's out cold! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Assad Fez!
Kenny Hendricks spoke after the fight, saying 'I lost to a hell of a guy. His Muay Thai is unbelievable. Everytime I went to move somewhere looking for a opening, he was there. I regroup, and I come back stronger. Thanks for the fight brother. '.
