Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jimmy Newtron (ranked 24550 p4p, 4845 weight class) and Viktor Volkov (ranked 672 p4p, 551 weight class). Volkov is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Kickstart my heart. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Gregory Folan and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Volkov misses with a takedown
and Newtron connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Newtron really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Horrible takedown attempt by Volkov or perhaps it was just good defense by Newtron, which made it look bad.

Volkov shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Newtron is trying to defend but Volkov finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Volkov is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Newtron to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Newtron shrugs it off.

Volkov tries to score a power double leg takedown but Newtron sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Volkov somewhat.
Newtron uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Volkov has time to react.
