Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Paul Vinazen (ranked 5675 p4p, 4783 weight class) and Max Power (ranked 547 p4p, 492 weight class). Vinazen comes to the cage accompanied by Scary Mask. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Vinazen gets tackled into the cage by Power. Power maintains the clinch.
Vinazen misses with a knee strike.

Vinazen breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Power on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Power moves out of range as Vinazen throws a body kick.
Power shoots in but no luck this time.
Vinazen slaps away a takedown attempt from Power, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Vinazen fails to land with a series of punches.
Vinazen swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Power shoots for a double leg takedown but Vinazen sprawls well. He's pushed Power's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Paul Vinazen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Max Power.
Vinazen avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Vinazen misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Vinazen keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Power blocks a head kick by Vinazen.
Vinazen plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!

Vinazen has taken the fight to the clinch.
Power dodges an elbow strike from Vinazen.
Power fails to pull guard.
Vinazen tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Power escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Paul Vinazen is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Vinazen displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Power.
Power shoots in but no luck this time.
Power walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Vinazen checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Power tries to clinch up.
It looked like Vinazen was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

Vinazen darts in and clinches Power up against the cage.
Vinazen tries to land a knee to the head but Power blocks with his arms.
Still in the clinch, Vinazen scores with a nice short uppercut.

Vinazen is trying to trip Power. He has hold of a leg but Power is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Vinazen persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Power working for a triangle but Vinazen defends it easily.

Power is trying to keep Vinazen in close.

Vinazen drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Power manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Vinazen has Power in his guard.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Power pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Vinazen is keeping the position for now.
Power passes Vinazen's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Power is trying to control. Vinazen wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Vinazen is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Power seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Vinazen does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Power tries to pass the half guard into mount. Vinazen knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Power is trying to control the action in half guard but Vinazen is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Power seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Vinazen is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
