PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bruce Knee (ranked 4155 p4p, 4686 weight class) and Austin Anders (ranked 410 p4p, 0 weight class). Knee has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anders displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
Knee avoids a punch combination nicely.
Anders pivots, looking for a leg kick but Knee is out of range and Anders settles back down.
Anders misses with a body shot.

Anders rushes Knee and presses him up against the cage.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Anders.
Anders lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Anders lands a right hand that snaps the head of Knee backwards.

Anders pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Anders fails to land with a series of punches.
Anders looks to score with a jab to the body but Knee is just out of range.
Knee is breathing heavily.

Anders clinches with his opponent.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Knee trying to land knees to the body.
Knee wants to break free but Anders has control.
Anders throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Anders creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Knee's defenses.
A nice left hand lands by Anders.
Anders is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Anders lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Knee.
Knee avoids the elbow strike from Anders, against the cage.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Anders.
Anders lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Knee or not.
Anders pushes Knee back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Anders lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Anders cracks Knee with a nice body shot.
Anders lands an uppercut.
Still in the clinch, Anders scores with a nice short uppercut.
Knee takes an elbow to the temple.

It looks like Bruce Knee has been cut.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Anders escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Anders closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Anders working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Anders lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

Knee is rocked!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Anders drops an elbow to the side of Knee's head.
Oh Knee is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Anders lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked Knee! More strikes land and this one is all over! Anders jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!
