Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jay Silva (ranked 3098 p4p, 3108 weight class) and Jai White (ranked 406 p4p, 410 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
White goes for a double leg but Silva avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Silva continues to drive forward.

Silva closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming White to the mat! White manages to get full guard.

Silva lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but White circles away quickly and effectively.
White unleashes a big counter combination but Silva bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.

Silva stands up and we're back to a striking position.

The referee asks Silva politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Silva prefers to stall for the moment though.

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Silva scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at White to see if he's OK.
