Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dirk Slamfist (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Monster Souza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Slamfist comes to the cage accompanied by Eminence Front. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

It looks like Monster Souza has been cut.
Slamfist stuns Souza with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Slamfist decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Slamfist takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Slamfist's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Some bone on bone action there as Souza checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

and Slamfist counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Souza thinking.
Souza walks into a straight right hand from Slamfist.

Slamfist wants the takedown. Souza is fighting it off but Slamfist persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Souza's guard against the cage.
