Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Greek Powaaah!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Marcus Behnder!
The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Dirk Anderson and Bart Greer.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Behnder throws a lazy right hand but Powaaah sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Behnder fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Powaaah to the ground. Behnder is now in Powaaah's guard.
Behnder drops back looking for a leg! Powaaah is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Powaaah manages to kick Behnder off! Behnder jumps back into Powaaah's guard.
Behnder looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Behnder is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Powaaah will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Behnder postures up and lands a big shot to Powaaah's brow.
Behnder looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Powaaah wants to get back to his feet but Behnder is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Powaaah throws his legs up looking for a submission but Behnder uses it to pass to side control.
Behnder has an Americana. Powaaah didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Behnder is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Behnder hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
