The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lowe rushes McGee and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Lowe pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Lowe shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. McGee defends it nicely.
McGee swings for the body but Lowe moves out of range.
Lowe drops down looking for a counter takedown but McGee sprawls and moves away.
McGee tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Lowe is able to avoid easily.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Lowe on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Lowe misses with a takedown attempt - McGee sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
