Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alborz Mumu (ranked 95 p4p, 75 weight class) and Techno Viking (ranked 17 p4p, 6 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mumu misses the jab.

and Mumu counters with a crisp one two that drops Viking! Mumu thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Viking to his feet! Viking is in big trouble!
Mumu takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Viking lands a nice shot that snaps Mumu's head back.

and Viking connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Viking lands a big right hand that sends Mumu crashing to the mat! Viking stays standing though and waves Mumu back to his feet!

Mumu is rocked!

It looks like Alborz Mumu has been cut.
Viking throws a low kick, looking for Mumu's leg but Mumu calmly moves out of range.
Viking will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
A jab from Viking misses.
Viking connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

Viking cracks Mumu with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Mumu looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Viking finish him?
Oh Mumu is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Viking has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Mumu sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Mumu seems to have got his legs back now.

Viking swings for the body but Mumu moves out of range.

Viking lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.

A little feinted left hand from Mumu on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Mumu throws a shot from downtown. Viking moves away and avoids it.
Viking fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Mumu manages to avoid it.
