The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Wesley Smith and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bruneau throws a body punch but Aldo moves out of range.
Jose Aldo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bruneau looks to land a right hand but Aldo moved out of range.

Bruneau uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Aldo.

Bruneau changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Aldo looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Bruneau throws an elbow but Aldo slips to the side and avoids it well.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Aldo can do anything to dispel that myth.

Bruneau is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Aldo knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Aldo for a finish.

Aldo really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bruneau. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
