Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tank Hankerson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Richard John Salvacion!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Stewart Dunkirk and Wesley Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hankerson takes the fight into the clinch.
Hankerson just leaning against Salvacion, taking a breather.
Hankerson is stalling here.
Hankerson lands a hook that snaps the head of Salvacion backwards.

Hankerson gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Hankerson works over Salvacion with some ground and pound from guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Salvacion can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Hankerson controls the pace.
Hankerson makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Hankerson controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Hankerson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Salvacion swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Hankerson is looking to stand up but Salvacion won't let him.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Hankerson will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Salvacion is trying hard to land a takedown here. Hankerson sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Hankerson is looking for a counter combo.

Hankerson looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Salvacion!
Salvacion looks winded!
Hankerson tries to stand but Salvacion is controlling his head.

Hankerson goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Salvacion has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Hankerson but great work by Salvacion.
What's Hankerson going to do here then? He's in a bit of a pickle.

Hankerson keeps Salvacion under control for a moment.
Hankerson manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Hankerson throws a strike from the bottom that misses.

Salvacion prevents Hankerson from improving his position.
Hankerson is holding on to half guard well.
Salvacion is looking to take a break and control but Hankerson is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Salvacion prevents Hankerson from standing back up.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Hankerson wants to stand back up but Salvacion manages to pass into side control.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Tank Hankerson dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Hankerson manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Salvacion on his heels. He'll look to pass Salvacion's guard now, I'm sure.
Hankerson slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Hankerson decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Salvacion, up you get!
Hankerson is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Salvacion can do to turn this around?
Salvacion is breathing heavily.

Hankerson drives through and clinches with Salvacion against the cage.

Hankerson gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.

Hankerson is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!

Hankerson seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Salvacion for as long as he can get away with.
Hankerson has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Hankerson pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Hankerson controlling the pace for now.
Tank Hankerson overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
This is a sustained period of stalling by Hankerson.
A nice elbow there by Hankerson.

Hankerson postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Salvacion looks a forlorn figure.
Hankerson lands a couple of good shots and Salvacion has given up his back, trying to escape the position!
What can Salvacion do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Hankerson throwing strikes from the back - he gets a warning from the referee for striking the back of the head but all these shots are hurting Salvacion!

Hankerson is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Salvacion has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Hankerson has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Salvacion taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Hankerson doesn't care though - he's delighted!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:56 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Tank Hankerson!
A very excited looking Tank Hankerson made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
