Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Koro Shinigumi (ranked 5541 p4p, 6192 weight class) and John Reyes (ranked 433 p4p, 461 weight class). John Reyes has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Koro Shinigumi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, John Reyes!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Chris Downing and Wesley Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shinigumi throws a nice outside leg kick.
Shinigumi stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Shinigumi wants it to stay on the feet.

Reyes is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Reyes shoots in looking for a takedown but Shinigumi manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Reyes's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
