Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Chad Slone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rolf Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Slone's entrance music is In The Air Tonight. A fine choice. Chad Slone has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chad Slone! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rolf Jackson! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Daniel Franklin and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jackson shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Jackson with good strikes from the mount here! Jackson is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Slone is surviving well by controlling Jackson's body position as best he can. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jackson can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Slone is looking to escape. Jackson wants to take Slone's back here but Slone is holding on to an arm, himself looking to escape.
Jackson swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Slone is now in Jackson's guard. A big mistake from Jackson there, giving up the dominant position! Jackson has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Slone can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Slone preventing the sweep.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jackson working for a triangle but Slone defends it easily.
Jackson throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jackson is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Jackson trying to keep a closed guard but Slone is proving a slippery customer.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Jackson pulls Slone in close to prevent any damage. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Jackson is on top in guard.
Jackson wants to pass the guard but Slone is keeping the position. Slone keeping moving, preventing Jackson from controlling successfully. Slone wants to sweep here but Jackson controlling him for the moment. Jackson passes easily into side control. Nice work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jackson trying to control the position but Slone is working away. Slone might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Slone struggling a bit here. Jackson tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Jackson has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Jackson trying to control the action but Slone is working from the bottom. Jackson is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Slone is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Jackson looks gassed! Jackson wants to control but Slone is keeping him busy.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. You can see the frustration on Slone's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Jackson thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Jackson wants to control but Slone is keeping him busy. Jackson working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rolf Jackson dominated that round. That's time! Slone's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Slone misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Slone is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Jackson closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Jackson lands in his opponent's guard. Jackson forces his way into half guard. Jackson wants to pass to mount but Slone is defending the position. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Jackson is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Slone! Jackson jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Slone is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Slone and Jackson has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jackson tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Slone is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Jackson goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Slone has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Jackson but great work by Slone. Jackson regains half guard. Jackson is looking to improve his position.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Jackson keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Jackson tries to hold on but Slone pushes him away. Jackson is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Slone can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Jackson is looking to escape. Slone prevents Jackson from getting the reversal.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Slone controlling his opponent. Jackson is trying desperately to improve position. Jackson wants to hold on but Slone pushes him away. Jackson is in all sorts of trouble here.
Slone trying to control but Jackson is having none of it. Jackson is looking to get to half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Jackson is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Jackson tries to hold on but Slone postures up. Jackson tries to get back to half guard but can't. Slone content just to control the position here. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Jackson tries to reverse the position but Slone maintains control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rolf Jackson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! And we move into the final round!
Slone tries to bum rush Jackson with a series of wild strikes but Jackson uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Slone tries to clinch but Jackson is having none of it. Slone doesn't manage to clinch there - Jackson circles away.
Slone with a poor takedown and Jackson counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Slone's guard now. Jackson stands and throws Slone's legs to the side, diving into side control. Jackson has an Americana. Slone didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Jackson is delighted and gyrates infront of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Jackson hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
