Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tim Miller (ranked 5239 p4p, 5238 weight class) and Tony Supra (ranked 495 p4p, 497 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Tim Miller!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Tony Supra!
The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Santiago Holmes and Michael Johnstone.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Supra shoots in but Miller avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Miller takes the fight into the clinch.

Miller pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Miller forces Supra back against the cage and clinches.

Miller pulls guard effortlessly.
Miller seems keen to control Supra's posture.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Supra trying to control but Miller is working from the bottom.
Supra is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Miller is looking to sweep but instead, Supra has passed into half guard.
Supra keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Miller moves into full guard.
Miller is pulling down on Supra's head. It's preventing any offense from Supra, at least for the moment.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Miller seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Miller tries to clinch up but Supra circles away and keeps his distance.

Tim Miller has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tony Supra.

Miller turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Miller manages to end up in side control.

Miller shoots in for a takedown but Supra shows good takedown defense.

Supra tries to keep at a distance but Miller has taken the fight into the clinch.
Miller has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Supra avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Miller darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Miller is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Supra defends it well.
Supra wants to control but Miller is keeping busy and won't allow it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Supra is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Miller pulls his head out easily.
Supra is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Miller scores with a couple of nice shots.
Miller is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Supra can do to turn this around?

Supra wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Miller manages to pass to side control.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Tim Miller overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Miller has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Miller working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Supra works his way to full guard. Good work.

Miller is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Miller stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Supra swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Miller fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Supra sprawls well initially but Miller persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Supra is trying to escape back to his feet but Miller uses the scramble to pass into side control.

Miller throws a sloppy head kick and Supra moves out of range easily.
Supra now looks to counter with a shot at the body.

Miller throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Supra tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Miller is in Supra's guard.
Supra wants to sweep but no luck.

Supra is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Miller jumps into side control!

Well Miller has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
