Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Charlie Conover!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Marco Demarco!
The judges for this bout are Ron Honeybunn, Steve Erwin and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Conover feints a jab promting Demarco to slip. Conover then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Demarco slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
It looks like Marco Demarco has been cut.
Demarco swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Demarco fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Conover avoids it really well and circles away.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Demarco has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Conover lands a right hook to the body.
Conover scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Conover blocks the body kick.
Conover scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Demarco looks winded!
Demarco is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Conover jabs Demarco right on the nose. Demarco blinks but takes it well.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Conover lands a big uppercut and Demarco crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Demarco looks OK. Conover waves Demarco back to his feet!
Demarco is rocked!
That has opened up Marco Demarco's cut even more.
Conover throws an overhand right that has Demarco reeling! Conover follows up with more punches and Demarco is out cold! This one is all over!
