Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Simon Poulter!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Maury Travis!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Donald Grub and Phil Schofield.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Poulter swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Travis throws a hook but Poulter blocks it.
Poulter throws an overhand right that lands on Travis's shoulder, as Travis tries to avoid the shot.
Travis has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Travis there as he acknowledges the shot.
Poulter tries to clinch there but Travis circles away.
Poulter connects with a jab.
It looks like Maury Travis has been cut.
A head kick misses from Poulter.
Despite the aggression on Travis's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Poulter ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Travis with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Poulter lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Poulter connects with a jab.
Travis is rocked!
Poulter really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Travis scores with a hook.
Travis is still on wobbly legs! Can Poulter finish him?
Poulter definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Oooooh!!! Travis has knocked Poulter down with a huge combo! Travis steps away and waves a wobbly Poulter back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Poulter is rocked!
Travis seems to have recovered his senses.
It looks like Simon Poulter has been cut.
Poulter fails in his attempt to clinch.
Oh Poulter is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Travis defending well as Poulter loads up on a big left hand.
Travis looks to throw the jab but Poulter is out of range.
Poulter seems to have got his legs back now.
Travis fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Poulter slips under a jab.
No joy there for Poulter, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Travis moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Poulter tries to clinch there but Travis circles away.
Poulter connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Poulter uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Travis.
Simon Poulter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Poulter takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Poulter pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Poulter throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Travis counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Poulter tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Travis counters with a left and a right... And another left! Poulter is down! He's done! The ref dives in to save him and that's the end of the fight!
