Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike Tyson (ranked 4404 p4p, 4425 weight class) and Pupunha Gracie (ranked 520 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Pupunha Gracie!
The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Micheangelo Fripello and Chris Saunders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie lands with a shot to the body.
Tyson fails with the takedown.
Gracie is looking for the big counter here.
Tyson throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Gracie shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Tyson as he avoids it easily.
Tyson lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.
Tyson rushes Gracie and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Gracie prevents Tyson from breaking the clinch.
Tyson lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Gracie backwards.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Gracie's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

and Gracie counters by clinching up.
Tyson changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Gracie fights it off and pushes away nicely.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Gracie working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Gracie cracks Tyson with a big right hand but Tyson just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Gracie is looking to take a break and control but Tyson is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Horrible takedown attempt by Gracie or perhaps it was just good defense by Tyson, which made it look bad.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Gracie drops back looking for a leg! Tyson is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Tyson manages to kick Gracie off! Gracie jumps back into Tyson's guard.

Pupunha Gracie is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
