Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bubba Jones (ranked 277 p4p, 243 weight class) and Iain Tower (ranked 43 p4p, 40 weight class). Jones comes to the cage accompanied by I'm A Soldier. Tower has chosen Kanye - Power as his entrance music. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 38 - 11 - 0, fighting out of New York, Iain Tower!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Richard Clark and Steven Brown.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Jones's corner calls for a 1-2. Jones obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Tower is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Tower fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.

Jones throws a right and a left that both miss.
Tower throws the left hand but Jones avoids the punch easily.
As Tower backs away, Jones returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.

Tower chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Jones can pounce on him.

And Tower tries to counter it with a takedown but Jones pushes his down on his head and steps out.

Jones stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Tower.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

and Jones counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Jones swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Tower tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.

A head kick lands from Tower that sends Jones to the canvas. Jones tries to scramble back to his feet but Tower brings him back down into side control.

It looks like Bubba Jones has been cut.
Jones is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Tower off and has taken his back!
Tower breaks Jones's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.

Tower has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

and Tower counters with a right hand that sends Jones tumbling to the canvas! Can Tower finish him? He dives into Jones's guard looking to do just that!
Oh Jones is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Iain Tower comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Tower has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
