Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Clinch King Smash Machine (ranked 1889 p4p, 3388 weight class) and Fistin Cider (ranked 248 p4p, 414 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Cider's choice of entrance music: Havana. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Paulo Santos and Leandro Rodrigues.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cider throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Cider dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Cider slips a jab from Smash Machine.
It seemed like Cider was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Cider rushes in with a sloppy looking punch

and Smash Machine counters by clinching up.
Cider is looking to break free of the clinch but Smash Machine has double underhooks.
Smash Machine misses with a knee to the head.
Cider lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

Cider breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Smash Machine looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Smash Machine wants to clinch but Cider slips to the side
and Cider counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Smash Machine's jab looks to have found its range, popping Cider under the eye.
Cider with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Smash Machine to score with a decent uppercut.

Cider swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Cider misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Smash Machine connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Cider momentarily.

The fight stays on the outside here - Smash Machine looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Cider jabbing away but nothing is landing.
As Cider tries to get set, Smash Machine tries to push him back and clinch up but Cider manages to avoid the attempt.
Smash Machine catches Cider with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Smash Machine throws a hook but Cider avoids it easily.
Smash Machine lands a nice shot that snaps Cider's head back.

Cider is rocked!
Smash Machine cracks Cider with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Cider tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Smash Machine pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Cider is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Clinch King Smash Machine!
