The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Handcuffs fails with an attempt to clinch.
Handcuffs tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Holmes swivels and escapes.

Holmes bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Handcuffs regains half guard.
Handcuffs gets back to full guard.

Handcuffs looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Handcuffs working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Holmes.

Handcuffs looking for a guillotine here but Holmes defends easily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Holmes loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Handcuffs escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Holmes gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Holmes postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.

Handcuffs has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Holmes should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Handcuffs has tightened it up now! Holmes should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
