Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jason Young!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Lewis McShane!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Young shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. McShane manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
McShane pushes Young off and scrambles back to his feet.
Young tries to close the distance and clinch up but McShane swats him away and circles back towards the center.
McShane changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Young looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
McShane looks up at the clock and then as Young takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, McShane smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
McShane moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.
McShane's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Young tries to improve position but can't.
A lull in the action here as McShane stalls from top position.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Let's hope that McShane has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
McShane grinds an elbow into Young's temple.
McShane controlling the position from side mount.
McShane in side control lands a decent elbow.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
McShane cracks Young with an elbow. That is naaassty.
Young takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
McShane takes a little break here. Young wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
McShane is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Young looks calm but he's in trouble here. McShane gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Young is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! McShane lets go of the hold and Young can pop his arm back in it's socket.
